The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that they have prevented a student with a knife at school in Transcarpathia

Interior Minister Igor Klimenko stated that law enforcement officers have managed to prevent an attack with a knife on one of the schools in the Transcarpathian region.

“A 15-year-old student planned an attack with cold weapons. He was detained when he tried to go to school with a knife in a backpack. At this time, the guy was already broadcasting on one of the platforms, ”the minister wrote in the telegram.

According to him, Ukrainian law enforcement officers received prompt information on the preparation of the attack in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.

“In one of the social networks, the teenager wrote about his intentions. The police regions acted comprehensively without losing a minute: the cyber police analyzed all available data, the criminal police conducted operational measures, there were increased protection near the educational institution, ”Klimenko said.

He reported that investigative actions are ongoing.
