There is no real “Christmas truce” on the negotiating table. Ukraine has repeatedly asked Hungary not to engage in manipulations on the topic of war, deaths of people and the holiday of Christmas. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tykhy, during a briefing, the correspondent reports UNN.

“There is no real Christmas truce on the table. This is PR from the Hungarian side, which we call “peace PR”. Why are they doing this? For their own internal political considerations. There are no realistic proposals on the negotiating table. We have repeatedly asked the Hungarian side not to engage in manipulations on the subject of war, people’s deaths and Christmas. This is simply cynical manipulation,” said Tykhi.

He noted that the Ukrainian side asked the Hungarian side publicly and not publicly to stop these manipulations.
