According to him, the parties will continue efforts to “remove irritants”. Ryabkov added that the next round of such contacts is expected at the beginning of spring 2026.
At the same time, Reuters wrote that the two countries are discussing ways to resolve a number of disputes that have affected the work of each other’s embassies. These talks are not related to the meetings regarding the war in Ukraine.
