The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has officially announced the start of the competition for the selection of independent members of the Supervisory Board of Joint Stock Company “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
Documents will continue from May 19 to June 17, 2025 inclusive – until 6:00 pm Kyiv time.
According to the results of the competition, four independent members will be selected to the Supervisory Board, who, together with three representatives of the state, will form this key management body of the company.
The Ministry of Economy emphasized that the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia is a collegial body that carries out strategic management of the company within its competence, as well as controls and regulates the work of the board of the company.
According to the current legislation, the Supervisory Board consists of seven persons: four independent members and three representatives from the state.
The requirements for candidates for the post of a member of the Supervisory Board are quite high. Applicants should have higher education in one of the following areas: logistics, finances, accounting and audit, law, management, public administration, transport, engineering or economy.
Experience in the C-Suite level or equivalent in the fields of infrastructure, transport or rail operations is required. An additional advantage will be the fluent in Ukrainian and/or English.
