According to the department’s announcement, the program “continues to work as usual.”
“The Ministry of Economy did not prepare and did not consider documents that would provide for the termination of the National Cashback in 2026. The cited changes in the normative acts, which the mass media note, relate to the technical redistribution of funds and are not a decision to reduce funding or cancel the program,” the message said.
The ministry noted that preparations for the next payments for September and October, work with participants and updating the lists of producers are currently underway.
In the resolution published the day before (No. 1510) of the government, it was noted that the accrual of cashback to recipients in 2026 will be stopped from May 1, 2026. At the same time, the previous resolution (No. 952 dated August 20, 2024) provides that payments under the program will be terminated if the appropriate funds are not allocated in the state budget. In the case of allocation of funds for the program, cashback accrual is renewed.
It should be noted that the main estimate of the country has not yet been adopted. Thus, whether the program will be extended next year will be decided by people’s deputies during the consideration of the document in the second reading.
National cashback – the latest newsThe day before, Ukraine changed the list of goods and services on which you can spend money received under the “National Cashback” program. Now funds from the program cannot be spent on mobile phone payments, transport tickets, recreation and entertainment (theater, cinema, museums), sports, as well as on the purchase of military bonds. The updated spending conditions will be valid until June 30, 2026.
Funds accumulated on the “National Cashback” card can be used for utilities, postal services, food products in stores and supermarkets, medicines and medical products, books and other printed products, as well as for charity.
