The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is studying information regarding the incident involving the use of weapons by an employee of the territorial procurement center in Shchaslyvo, Kyiv region.

As the agency’s press service reported, in order to find out the circumstances, the Main Inspection of the Ministry of Defense (GIMO) began checking the legality of the actions of the representative of the TCC and the grounds for using weapons.

“In the case of establishing the facts of exceeding official authority or identifying signs of a criminal offense, the materials will be directed to law enforcement agencies for further investigation and the adoption of appropriate decisions,” the message says.

On November 15, a video began to spread on social networks with the caption that a representative of the TCC allegedly shot a man near Kyiv in the village of Shchaslyve.

Instead, the police reported that the shots were fired by a representative of the voluntary formation of the territorial community (DFTG). Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident. An investigative team is working at the scene of the incident. There are no victims.
