At the meeting with the participation of representatives of Ukrainian business, the Central Directorate for the Development of Material Support and the procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense “State rear operator”, the modernization of fabrics and materials for military uniforms and the introduction of the latest processing technologies that increase the strength and wear resistance of products were discussed.
The participants of the meeting also analyzed the effectiveness of new equipment samples in real combat conditions.
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov, the modernization of property for the Armed Forces is critical for improving the effectiveness of the Ukrainian military.
“We have to provide our defenders with the best materials and technologies that will increase their combat readiness and comfort in the most difficult conditions. Together with manufacturers, we will introduce innovative solutions that meet modern requirements,” Klimenkov assured.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasizes the importance of cooperation with Ukrainian business to implement innovations and ensure a high level of equipment for the servicemen of the Armed Forces.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine began testing new samples of women’s military uniforms, in particular demi-season ones, which are already undergoing field trials.
The first batches of women’s military uniforms and underwear have been sent to several Ukrainian brigades for testing.
