In particular, deferments will be automatically renewed for school teachers and parents who independently raise a child under 18 years of age.

The Ministry of Defense has added new categories of deferrals with auto-renewal: who will not have to go to the TsNAPUntil February 2 inclusive, another automatic extension of postponements from mobilization took place / photo – ua.depositphotos.comThe list of categories of postponements from mobilization, which are subject to automatic extension, has been expanded. Now 90% of issued deferrals continue without applications, certificates and queues. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

It is noted that until February 2, inclusive, there was another automatic extension of postponements from mobilization, which applied to both postponements issued through “Reserve+” and submitted through TsNAP. Now 7 more categories of postponements have been added to the mechanism.

The Ministry of Defense reminded that until recently, in order to extend the postponement, it was necessary to collect paper documents, personally go to the TCC, stand in line and wait for the application to be considered for more than a week. The department noted that this created an unnecessary burden for both citizens and military institutions.

“Now, in 90% of cases, everything happens without human intervention: the grounds are checked automatically through state registers, the postponement continues without applications and certificates, and the confirmation is displayed in “Reserve+”. In other cases, applications are submitted through TsNAP. Thus, the queues at the TCC regarding postponements have been completely eliminated,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

New categories of deferrals subject to auto-renewal:

  • parents raising a seriously ill child without a disability;
  • those who care for a seriously ill family member;
  • guardians of a person recognized as incapable;
  • those who have a husband (wife) with a disability of the III group;
  • people who care for a relative of the 2nd or 3rd degree of kinship with a disability;
  • parents who independently raise a child under the age of 18;
  • school teachers

The Ministry of Defense noted that the automatic extension of deferrals is also preserved for the previously defined categories.

The Ministry of Defense said that all “Reserve+” users, whose deferments are automatically extended, should first receive a push notification about the planned extension, and after data processing – a message that the deferment has already been extended.

“If the notification has not been received, it means that the state registers have insufficient or outdated data. In this case, you need to apply for documents to any convenient TsNAP. TCC and JV no longer accept applications for postponements from citizens,” the department added.

Who has the right to deferment from mobilization in 2026Previously, UNIAN wrote which categories of citizens have the right to postpone mobilization in 2026. We would like to remind you that the law “On Mobilization” contains a list of grounds for granting a postponement.

In 2026, the following categories will receive a postponement and will not be mobilized:

  • Single parents, as well as parents and guardians of a child with a disability.
  • Parents with many children, if they do not have alimony debts.
  • Reserved employees of critical infrastructure enterprises.
  • Persons with disabilities and serious illnesses. Postponement from mobilization due to health conditions is granted to men who are unfit for service, if their illness is listed in Appendix 1 of the order of the Ministry of Defense “On military medical examination”.
  • Persons who take care of an adult child or other relatives with disabilities or disabilities. Respite for caring for parents and other relatives is granted only if relatives need constant care.
  • Students who obtain their first higher education on a full-time or dual basis.
  • Scientists and teachers with a rate of at least 0.75.
  • Men whose close relatives died or went missing at the front.

Postponement according to the new rules, adopted 3 months ago, is now issued at the Central Administrative Office, if the documents for confirmation are only in paper form, or “Reserve+” if the papers are digitized.
