“In order to implement the decision of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, this week decided to increase the direct financing of the brigades for purchases. Today, the relevant funds were directed to the crews – at the rate of seven million hryvnias for each battalion, which performs combat missions on the front line. Earlier today, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko stated that the Cabinet of Ministers made a decision “who will help to quickly close the needs of the front.”
“Military units will be able to directly buy used pickups, ATVs, Bagi and motorcycles without unnecessary bureaucracy. Cost will be determined by expert evaluation or market data. This will allow you to quickly update the front -wear equipment. Property lost or worn in battles will be written off in a simplified manner. If it is up to UAH 1.7 million – the process will be faster so that the units can receive a replacement without delay, ”she said.
On July 18, President Zelensky instructed the newly appointed Defense Minister Denis Shmigal “Urgently” to conclude all the contracts for the drones required by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. He also reported plans to “reach the number of 500-1000 interceptors per day”.
