“One of the registers that can potentially be transferred is a voter register. But we must understand that mobilization is not a punishment or coercion, it is first and foremost a defense and love for our country. Moreover, there are criteria for selection in the army that does not meet the Register,” he said.
Timochko stressed that the registers only provide information on the social status of Ukrainians, for example, whether a person is a large parent, a person with a disability or a low -income family. He added that these factors are taken into account when determining fitness in the army.
“Panic around the topic of registers is inappropriate. More than 5 million Ukrainians have already registered in the Reserve+system. This is an open process that helps the state to understand who it can rely on,” Timochko said.
What does the status of “required military training” in “reserve+”Earlier, the Defense Ministry’s press service explained that the status “required military training” in the “Reserve+” application is required. It is noted that the award of such status is necessary for the state to estimate the number of conscripts who will need to undergo a military training in the event of mobilization.
The press service emphasized that in this case there is no need to do anything specifically. Such a military accounting specialty is not a ground for a fine or other restrictions.
