Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Semen Kryvonos said that the Mindichgate case has not yet been resolved. He emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and new details regarding this proceeding can be expected in the near future.
Kryvonos said this during a press conference.
He noted that the extradition procedure for some persons involved in the case is still ongoing, because it is a complex and lengthy process. He also reported that NABU actively cooperates with more than ten jurisdictions to obtain the necessary information about financial transactions, accounts and property of the participants in the case.
“We are waiting for new details. At this stage, we are trying to be careful in communication, since everything depends on the collection of the evidence base, conducting examinations and international cooperation,” Kryvonos said.
He also added that NABU is working with Israel and other countries regarding the possibility of extradition of the persons involved in this case, but emphasized that no final conclusions can be made at this time.
Previously, so-called the head of ARMA Maksymenko stated that the agency has assets that are being investigated as part of the “Mindichgate” case. At the same time, no searches or other investigative actions have been conducted in ARMA itself since the beginning of the investigation.
A new section has appeared on the “MindichGate” website – “OP Bloggers”, to which 21 public figures have already contributed.
