Details: Svyridenko explained this step by the fact that the transition to an electronic document reduces the risks of loss or forgery and simplifies the processes of military registration.
She added that in order to implement these changes, the government updated Resolutions No. 1487 and No. 559.
What preceded: Previously, the Ministry of Defense released an update for the Reserve+ application – now the electronic document will automatically display the owner’s photo. Users only need to update the app to the latest version and the document in it.
