The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine imposed fines on 12 publishing houses for violating the deadlines for delivering textbooks to general secondary education institutions in 2025.
As reported in a comment by “Interfax-Ukraine” at the Institute of Modernization of the Education Content of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the total amount of fines for untimely delivery of educational literature amounts to UAH 1.896 million.
The list of publishing houses that have been held financially responsible includes:
LLC “Abetka” — UAH 15,063;
“Alaton Publishing House” LLC — UAH 323,987;
LLC “Aston” — UAH 142,505;
LLC “Atlant Publishing House” — UAH 140;
MPP “Bukrek” — UAH 2,189;
Geneza LLC — UAH 684,832;
“Gymnasium” TOV — UAH 141,936;
“Metodyka Publishing” LLC — UAH 528;
“Educational Book – Bohdan” LLC — UAH 7,202;
“ORION” LLC — UAH 561,157;
“Ranok” LLC — UAH 4,916;
Shkolyar Education and Publishing Center LLC — UAH 12,455.
The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture noted that the fines were imposed in accordance with the terms of the contracts for violation of the established deadlines for the logistics of textbooks to schools.
We will remind, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is planning create a zero course for applicants who have not passed the national multi-subject test.
