Details: According to the results of the survey, 59% of Germans are in favor of further military support for Ukraine in the fight against the Russian Federation.

In the event of an agreement to end the war, 56% of respondents would support the participation of Bundeswehr soldiers in the European peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. 42% of respondents spoke against such an initiative.
At the same time, only 21% of Germans believe that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is interested in a diplomatic end to the war. 47% assess the military threat from Russia as very high (last year it was 39%).
The survey also recorded a sharp change in the attitude of Germans towards the United States. 73% of respondents consider relations with the United States to be bad. Only 38% consider Washington a reliable partner in matters of the war in Ukraine (a year ago this figure was 70%).
At the same time, only 35% believe that Germany can still rely on the US nuclear umbrella. Instead, 75% of respondents are in favor of their country seeking nuclear protection from France and Great Britain.
