Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line is 55. The majority of battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky direction, according to the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 21, as of 4:00 p.m.

“In the Pokrovsky direction today, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 33 times in the areas of Vodiane Druge, Zelene Pole, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Myrnograd, Novy Trud, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Slovianka, Sribne, Shevchenko, Andriivka, Ulakly, Yantarne , Dacha. Nine clashes continue until now,” the post states.

According to the headquarters, in the direction of Toretsk, Russian troops attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine five times in the region of Toretsk, and three clashes are still ongoing. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on Druzhba and Kostyantynivka.

“Invaders attacked our defenders in the Kursk direction twice, in addition, the enemy carried out 11 airstrikes, dropping 17 anti-aircraft missiles on the territory of Russia,” the military said.

Russian troops also advanced in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Novopavlovsk, Orihiv and Prydniprovsk directions.
