The names of the judges of the special New Year’s charity edition “Dancing with the Stars” on 1+1 Ukraine have become known.
After a four-year hiatus, the legendary show “Dancing with the Stars” is returning to 1+1 Ukraine in the format of a large New Year’s charity edition. This time, the project will take place with new meanings, the mission is “Movement to life”, to give viewers faith, inspiration and a feeling of a shoulder next to them, even in the darkest times. And also with a great charitable purpose. The “Dancing with the Stars” project joins forces with the all-Ukrainian modern war trauma center Superhumans Center, which collects funds for targeted evacuation.
One of the main intrigues is the judging panel, which gathered four super-powerful and legendary heroes of “Dancing with the Stars” at once. Its composition was revealed in a closed Telegram channel, which you can join for a donation and be the first to learn exclusive news about your favorite project.
Dmytro Dikusar is a choreographer, dancer and currently a military man who returns to the show for a charity mission. A person who knows what movement is as the meaning of life and as a struggle. For the first time, he will be away from work for several days and will sit in the judge’s chair of “Dancing with the Stars” – at the numerous requests of fans of the show.
“When I was invited to the charity broadcast “Dancing with the Stars”, the first thing I paid attention to was the purpose of this event. Because, if it was for fun, I wouldn’t even try to talk about it with the command. Secondly, I paid attention to the position of judge and was glad, because now, even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to be a dancer, the years of service have slightly spoiled my health…
Doubts about the appropriateness of this project now also echoed in my head, but I also realized that it is possible to give people hope by reminding them that we had a different life and we will definitely win together! The project joins forces with the all-Ukrainian state-of-the-art military trauma center Superhumans Center, which collects funds for targeted evacuation – the latest format of rapid transportation of wounded soldiers from the front line immediately to the operations center. Thanks to this, the average duration of evacuation was reduced to 17, and sometimes 15 hours from the moment of injury. These are decisive hours that often determine whether a limb or even a life can be saved.
