According to the Telegraaf publication, the former star football player of “Barcelona” sets himself the goal of leading the national team to the World Cup in 2026.
Patrick Kluivert played 182 matches for Barcelona, in which he scored 90 goals.
After the end of his playing career, he worked as an assistant coach in the Dutch clubs AZ Alkmaar and Nijmegen, as well as in the Cameroon national team. In addition, Kluivert held the post of head coach of the Curacao national team.
The specialist’s last place of work was “Barcelona”, where he was the director of a children’s academy.
After six rounds of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, the Indonesian national team is in third place in a group where its rivals are Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and China.
