The legend survived. Djokovic and Alcaraz put on a show in the Aus Open quarterfinals

24-time winner of Grand Slam tournaments Novak Djokovic (Serbia, ATP 7) reached the semifinals of the 2025 Australian Open.

Nole lost in four sets in the quarterfinals Carlos Alcaraz (Spain, ATP 3) in 3 hours and 40 minutes.

It was the eighth meeting of the rivals. Djokovic won the fifth head-to-head match. In particular, the Serb tied the score at slams – 2:2.

In the semifinals of the Australian Open, Novak will play against world number two Alexander Zverev (Germany), who previously defeated Tommy Paul. Nole won 10 times on Melbourne courts.

Djokovic won his 99th victory on the Australian Open courts. Novak reached the semifinals of the slam for the 50th time.

Alcaraz was fighting for his first semi-final in Melbourne and seventh at a Grand Slam. Carlos has 4 major trophies (US Open 2022, Wimbledon 2023 and 2024, Roland Garros 2024).
