Andriy Yatsenko was born on December 25, 1969 in Kyiv.
In the spring of 1993, he founded a rock band Green Gray. He mixes different styles and directions – funk, rock, trip-hop, dubstep.
The band became the first in the history of the Ukrainian music industry to win the MTV Europe Music Awards in London in 1996 and in Berlin in 2009.
In 1996, the artists became famous with the song “Pod dozhdem”, which was translated into Ukrainian and recently released under the title “Sche ne vshchent pod doshem”. Among other songs that became popular – “Mazafaka”, “Emigrant”, “Stereosystem”, “That Day”.
Before the start of a full-scale invasion Green Gray was Russian-speaking and criticized de-Russification. However, in In 2023, the band restarted its work in Ukrainian and organized a national tour in support of charitable initiatives.How are you?”.
