The leader has not changed. The overall standings of the CS biathletes after the 2nd stage

Norwegian biathlete Johan-Olav Botn remained the leader of the World Cup after the second stage in Hochfilzen (Austria).

The athlete in Austria showed the fourth result in the sprint and the third in the pursuit, keeping the leader’s yellow bib – 365 points.

The Italian Tommaso Giacomel (298), who was only sixth after the races in Östersund, climbed to the second step. Eric Perrault (280) also made a breakthrough to the third position.

Compared to the overall standings after the first stage, there was only one change in the top 10, with Campbell Wright moving up to 10th, while Norway’s Vetle Shostad Christiansen dropped to 13th after missing the Austrian stage.

Vitaly Mandzin remained the only Ukrainian in the standings: the biathlete scored 26 points in Hochfiltzen and finished on the 26th place (65 points).

The overall ranking of biathletes after the second stage of the World Cup:
