The union includes Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
The participants of the summit called on third countries, in particular, North Korea, Belarus, China and Iran, to stop supporting Russian aggression. They also confirmed their “unwavering and long-term” support for Ukraine’s sovereignty. In particular, according to the text, the JEF countries, together with other NATO members, provided training for more than 50,000 Ukrainian military personnel, starting in 2022.

The countries of the association also hope for deeper cooperation with Ukraine and its involvement in future JEF military exercises.
“This shows our long-term commitment to Ukraine and its support on the irreversible path to full Euro-Atlantic integration, including NATO membership. Our combined military aid to Ukraine is more than 12 billion euros by 2025. We call on our other Allies and partners to continue or increase their military support for Ukraine until Ukraine wins,” the statement said.

The JEF countries also expressed their support for the basic principles of the “victory plan” proposed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and “are working with Ukraine to participate in its implementation.”
The participants of the summit emphasized that a just and durable peace requires the complete and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
During his speech at the JEF summit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine is ready “for greater interaction and joining the JEF as a member.”
