Today, October 6, the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine together with the Mashav International Cooperation Agency, transferred the water treatment system to the Kiev Regional Clinical Hospital # 2.

The transmission ceremony took part in:
• Michael Brodsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine;
• Mykola Kalashnik, Head of the Kiev Ova;

• Hospital management and staff.
“The transfer of water purification installations is part of the Ukraine project that Israel has begun to provide before the full -scale war. Israel is comprehensively assisted by the Kyiv Regional Hospital. Hospital staff participated in rehabilitation training in Israel. We will continue to help Ukraine. Israel stands on the side of Ukraine. Together we will overcome all the bad weather and problems. The war in Israel will end, the war in Ukraine will end – and our cooperation will continue, ”said the Ambassador of Israel Michael Brodsky, opening the ceremony.
In confirmation of these words, the CEO of the hospital Darina Melnyk conducted a brief tour of the physical rehabilitation department, where patients undergo rehabilitation according to methods, in particular, and Israeli medicine. Darina Melnyk, who recently visited the Ukrainian delegation of doctors, noted that the program of courses from rehabilitation receives good feedback not only from Kiev doctors, but also from Doctors of Medical Subsidents Bucha and Obukhov, who also participated in the courses.
“The hospital needs water constantly. In addition to hospital patients, we have a lot of those who have been recovering in the hospital for a long time after injuries, – says Darina Melnyk. – The transferred installation has the performance of filtration water 3000 liters per day. This is enough for hospital patients. ”
Mykola Kalashnik, the head of the Kiev Ova, said that the regional administration plans to build an open rehabilitation platform with simulators on the hospital. The water treatment installation will be located nearby. Due to the fact that the water in the installation is heated, it will be convenient for patients to use it in any season.
“Such help motivates to move on,” Mykola Kalashnik comments, the head of the Kiev Ova. – This is important because hostile attacks often cause light shutdown. This installation will provide the hospital’s need for water despite such shutdowns. Thank you for the installation and assistance in the training of hospital staff under rehab programs.
