“From November 11 to 17, 118,276 Ukrainians fell ill with SARS, influenza, and COVID-19, including 68,333 children under the age of 17. 2,641 patients received medical care in hospitals, and doctors reported five deaths among those infected with COVID-19. 19”, the Ministry of Health reported.
Since the beginning of the epidemic season in October, as noted, 821,164 people have already fallen ill. This is 2.3% of the population of the entire country. In total, in one and a half months, 11,847 people were diagnosed with COVID-19, of which 43 died due to complications.
As of November 17, 82,805 Ukrainians had already been vaccinated against the flu.
The Ministry of Health reminded that the most effective prevention of COVID-19 and influenza is annual vaccination, in particular for people from risk groups.
French and Korean-made flu vaccines have been available in pharmacies since the beginning of October, as noted. They are certified and passed state quality control.

According to the Ministry of Health, a week earlier, from November 4 to 10, 115,137 people across the country fell ill with SARS, influenza and COVID-19.
