One of the largest Ukrainian construction companies “Avtomagistral-South” has declared an attempt to raider by law enforcement agencies, which, according to them, is commissioned by a competitor in order to displace from the market and seize assets.
The company reported that the owner is threatened not only by suspicion of criminal case but also by physical violence. Searches, falsified expertise, media campaigns and harassment of “Motor Swing-South” associates with the intention to discredit its activities both in Ukraine and abroad.
The basis for the accusations was the supply of pipes for the water pipeline “Ingulets – Southern Reservoir”. At the same time, the company notes that it does not sell pipes, but acts as a contractor of construction of the turnkey facility and did not receive an advance for the purchase of materials. The project, according to them, has undergone an expertise, including an international verification with USAID.
The “motorway-south” believes that such a scheme can be destroyed by any company, and warn that if the authorities do not intervene, it will create a monopoly and catastrophically strike in the infrastructure industry.
The company emphasizes that it fights on two fronts – against Russian attacks on objects in the war zone and in parallel against the pressure of security forces inside the country.
Earlier, we wrote that law enforcement officers reported suspicion to five persons involved in theft of public funds allocated for the construction of the water supply after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. Among the suspects is the owner and representative of one of the leading road companies of Ukraine, as well as engineering and technical workers of enterprises.
