The head of German Foreign Ministry and Lithuania came to Kiev with a visit

German Foreign Minister Annalen Berb arrived in Kiev on April 1 with a non -standing visit. Visit information was not disclosed in advance for safety reasons.

This is a ninth trip of Bernbbies to Ukraine as a Minister of Foreign Affairs since the beginning of a Russian full -scale invasion in February 2022. It is likely that the visit will be the last in this position, as negotiations on the new coalition government are underway in Germany after the election in February.

Also in the Ukrainian capital arrived the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania Kiastusis Budris. He wrote about it on the social network H.

“He arrived in free Kiev to express the adamant support of Lithuania with a brave Ukrainian people. We will continue to be in your struggle for freedom and sovereignty. Lithuania supports a strong, stable and prosperous Ukraine in the EU. Together to victory! ” Budris wrote.

Lithuania and Germany support Ukraine after the Russian invasion.

According to the Government, Lithuania provided military assistance to Ukraine in total in the amount of more than 769 million euros. Ukraine’s general support from Lithuania is long -term and exceeded 1.5 billion euros.

Germany is one of the leading European donors of assistance to Ukraine, providing from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia as a total of about 37 billion euros as of December 2024.
