Ukraine’s GDP grew by 4.2% over the first 10 months of 2024: in October, growth slowed to 1.3% compared to 3.8% in September.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
The drivers of growth remain the transport and construction industries, as well as the processing industry, said Oleksiy Sobolev, First Deputy Minister of Economy.
Transport, processing and construction continued to demonstrate high positive dynamics.
At the same time, there was a decline in agriculture. The reason is the early harvest this year: by October, farmers had already finished harvesting some agricultural crops.
We will remind:
In the nine months of 2024, Ukraine’s GDP grew by 4.5% (+1%) compared to the same period in 2023.
