In particular, during the meeting, it was decided to immediately terminate the powers of a significant part of the supervisory boards of key state energy companies, including:
- LLC “Operator of GTS of Ukraine”;
- Centernergo PJSC;
- JSC “Ukrainian Distribution Networks”;
- JSC “Energy Company of Ukraine”;
- JSC “Market Operator”;
- JSC “Ukrainian Energy Machines”.
The Cabinet approved a transparent procedure for selecting candidates for supervisory boards. According to Svyridenko, new members of the supervisory boards of these companies should be elected by the end of December.
The government also instructed the Minister of Defense to reset supervisory boards in defense sector enterprises. The Prime Minister said that she expects regular reports.
“Rebooting the supervisory boards is an important step, since it is the members of the supervisory boards who are responsible for strategic management and control over the company’s internal processes,” Svyridenko said.
Before that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after meeting with Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko, announced that the powers of a significant part of the supervisory boards of major state-owned energy companies will be terminated today.

The Government of Ukraine appealed to the countries of the European Union to submit proposals for candidates to the Supervisory Board of NAEK “Energoatom” . This is the first step in the process of cleaning up and improving the effectiveness of anti-corruption policy in the energy sector.
