After Russia’s nighttime attack, in which missiles and drones were used to damage energy infrastructure facilities, the Ukrainian government focused on eliminating the consequences of the aggression.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko noted that conference calls are held with the heads of regional authorities and deployed anti-crisis headquarters, as well as coordination of repair works with the involvement of communal services and emergency services.
“We are working on eliminating the consequences throughout the country. The focus is on the prompt restoration of heat, light and water,” Svyridenko emphasized.
She noted that conference calls have already been held with the heads of OVA, reports on the situation at the facilities have been heard.
According to the Prime Minister, anti-crisis headquarters and points of invincibility have been deployed on the ground.
“The Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Development, together with regional administrations and local authorities, are coordinating the work of repair crews, communal services and emergency services to restore vital services,” she added.
Such an attack led to serious interruptions in the supply of electricity in many areas, which, in turn, affected the operation of critical facilities.
