You can get help online through the “Diya” application or offline at the Pension Fund branch/ ua.depositphotos.comApplications for the payment of UAH 6,500 will be accepted from today for Ukrainians who were most affected by the war or are in difficult life circumstances.
As Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko informed, this program operates within the framework of “Winter Support”.
The following can receive payment:
- children under care or custody;
- children with disabilities, as well as children fostered by foster families and family-type children’s homes (including children with disabilities);
- people with disabilities of group I among internally displaced persons;
- children from the number of IDPs who receive a living allowance;
- children from low-income families under the age of 18;
- single pensioners receiving Carer’s Allowance.
According to Svyridenko, you can get help in two ways — online through the “Action” application or offline at the Pension Fund branch.
Funds will go to a current account with a special mode of use (if it is opened in the bank) or to “Action.Card”. You can spend them within 180 days from the moment of enrollment on clothes and shoes, medicines and vitamins.
Winter support – the latest newsIn October, it became known that the government plans to provide socially vulnerable citizens with a one-time payment of 6,500 hryvnias for the heating season.
About 660,000 citizens will be able to receive money within the framework of the “Warm Winter” program on the eve of the winter period of 2025/26. Assistance in the amount of 6,500 hryvnias is intended for the most socially vulnerable Ukrainians.
Also, for the second year in a row, the “Winter is Support” program is operating in Ukraine, under which all Ukrainians can apply for a payment of 1,000 hryvnias. Funds can be spent on specified goods and services: payment of utility services, purchase of medicines, food products of Ukrainian production, except for excise goods, books, as well as on charitable contributions or postal services.
