The government has started the Open Competition Process for the post of head of the State Customs Service Ukraine.
“Today, at a government meeting, we have launched an open competition for the post of head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. This is an important stage in restarting customs, which should become an effective and transparent body that works according to European standards,” said Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko in Telegram.
The competition commission included representatives of Ukrainian business and international experts in anti -corruption and customs.
Thus, the members of the commission from Ukraine were the head of the analytical center of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Andriy Yerasov, Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmitry Oliynyk and Director for Business Development (Audit Firm “Moor Stevens”) Oleg Timkov.
International partners included the Customs Attaché of Lithuania at the EU, customs policy and international cooperation expert Arunas Adomas, expert on government and institutional reforms David Bernstin and an international customs policy expert, trade in trade and organizational leadership of Kunio Mikuria.
Also, according to Sviridenko, the Government has approved the Medium -term plan of measures for the implementation of customs reform.
“This is one of the key areas in the National Revenue Strategy by 2030. The reformed customs must set levels of rules for all participants in the economy and become a source of stable revenues to the state budget,” the Cabinet head said.
