Drivers carrying humanitarian cargoes will now not be registered in the “Way” system // photo UNIANThe government has stopped functioning of the “Way” system for drivers carrying humanitarian cargo. From now on, such drivers must have other grounds for crossing the border to travel abroad.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territories of Ukraine on Facebook, according to the results of the Cabinet meeting on February 25, amendments to Resolution No. 57, concerning traveling abroad drivers departing for humanitarian and medical goods, were approved.
According to these changes, the departure of such drivers will be possible on general grounds, and not on registration in the “Path” system.
“Drivers traveling for medical and humanitarian cargo should have other resolution No. 57, the grounds for crossing the border, since the Ministry of Community and Territories and Regional Military Administrations will not bring drivers to the” Path “, – the message reads.
It is noted that in addition the Government has entrusted the Ministry of Social Policy, which forms a policy in the field of humanitarian aid, together with the Ministry of Defense to develop a mechanism of departure on humanitarian cargoes of military men.
Changes in border crossing – the latest news Ukraine has updated the rules of traveling abroad for military men who transport humanitarian or medical care. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that men who carry humanitarian and medical cargo will cross the border of Ukraine on a general basis.
The spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko said that the innovations affect men who are engaged in the transportation of humanitarian or medical goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations or for civilians.
Previously, such drivers were introduced into the electronic system “Path”, and the decision on the crossing of the border was made by the Ministry of Communities and Territories or Regional Military Administrations.
