The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft law regulating transportation under martial law, in particular regarding the use of humanitarian aid for passenger transportation.

This was reported by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

According to the new draft law, vehicles received as humanitarian aid (buses, electric buses, trams, trolleybuses and subway cars) can be used for passenger transportation without recognizing such activity as commercial, i.e. without making a profit. This will allow utility companies — carriers engaged in road and electric transportation — to become recipients of humanitarian aid.

Also, the new draft law prohibits the transfer or sale of received vehicles to third parties, except in cases of free transfer to another recipient of humanitarian aid.

This move by the government is aimed at supporting the transport infrastructure under martial law, ensuring uninterrupted passenger transportation in difficult conditions.

We previously wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the strategy for the development of agriculture and rural areas in Ukraine for the period up to 2030.

We will also remind you that priority in state procurement will be given to Ukrainian products. For example, Ukrainian hake is not inferior in terms of energy values to imported hake.
