The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 150 million hryvnias from abroad for the return of Ukrainian refugees from abroad. The relevant decision was made during a government meeting on March 4.

This was reported by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

The funds will be transferred from the budgetary appointments of the Ministry of Economy for 2025 as part of the program “Ensuring the implementation of tasks and measures to support Ukrainians abroad and facilitate their return to Ukraine”.

The appropriate measures will be implemented by the Ministry of National Unity.

We will remind, the recently in the domestic information space appeared that the Cabinet is planning to pay “millions of hryvnias” to Ukrainian refugees if they decide to return home. This information was quickly denied – but the idea itself is at least curiosity.

Earlier, President Zelensky stated that during the first year of the war, Ukrainians had taken $ 35 billion abroad.
