Andriy Pyatov Andrew’s career began in professional football in 2001, when the Ukrainian began to play for Vorskla Poltava. He played for the first time in 2005. As part of the Poltava Club, the goalkeeper spent 42 matches.
In 2006, Pyatov left Vorskla and moved to Shakhtar Donetsk for UAH 6 million. On the right of lease, he paid in Poltava by the end of the 2006/07 season.
At the beginning of his journey at the Donetsk club, Andrew faced high competition at the goalkeeper’s position. Nevertheless, he managed to win the trainer’s trust and become the main choice in the gate frame.
