Over the past 24 hours, 158 combat clashes took place on the front, most of them in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of the morning of November 10.

“Thirty-nine attacks were repelled by our defenders in the Pokrovsky direction over the past day. Enemy troops are most active near Promeny, Lysivka, and Hryhorivka. Defense forces continue to restrain the enemy in the Kurakhiv direction. In the districts of Illinka, Novoselidivka, Novodmytrivka, Maksimilianivka, Dalniy, Katerynivka, and Antonivka, the occupiers tried to break through the Ukrainian defense lines 40 times,” the message reads.

In addition, according to the General Staff, the Russian military carried out 23 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units in Kurshchyna, where the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct operations.

The command reported that during the day, fighting also continued in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Siver, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremiv, Orihiv and Dnieper directions.

“According to detailed information, the enemy launched two missile strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using two missiles, and also carried out 78 air strikes, including dropping 134 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand attacks, including 112 from rocket salvo systems, and used about 1,600 kamikaze drones for attacks,” the summary states.

According to British intelligence data as of November 5, in the south of the Donetsk region, Russian troops have advanced in several areas on a 20-kilometer front.

At the beginning of October, Russian troops occupied Vugledar, at the end – Selidove, between them – more than a dozen villages and towns. According to the calculations of the German publication Welt, Russian troops captured more than 470 square meters. km in just one month, and this is the largest increase in the captured territory since March 2022.
