According to the headquarters, yesterday the enemy launched 5 missile and 74 air strikes, fired 39 missiles and dropped 184 guided aerial bombs on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas. In addition, 7,754 kamikaze drones were used to destroy and 3,814 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and population centers, of which 44 were from rocket salvo systems.

In the direction of Kostyantynivka, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Predtechine, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka and in the direction of Illinivka, Stepanivka, Berestka, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka.
Russian troops have halved their activity in the Gulyaipol direction – here the Defense Forces repelled nine Russian attacks in the Gulyaipol area and in the Dobropilly and Zeleny directions. There were 20 attacks the previous day.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.
On January 19, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that a grueling confrontation continues in the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration area – about half a hundred battles take place here every day. According to him, the enemy is pulling up reserves to Pokrovsk, looking for opportunities to break through the Ukrainian defense both through sporadic mass assaults and through covert advances by small infantry groups.
According to the American Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces increased their average rate of advance in 2025 thanks to the new operational pattern, but did not achieve their priority objectives in the specified time frames.
Fighting in Pokrovsk has been going on since October 2025, when the Russian army managed to break through to the city after several months of fighting on its slopes. Almost immediately, Russian soldiers began to be recorded in Pokrovsk’s satellite city of Mirnograd. On the map of the DeepState project, most of both are now under the control of the aggressor, the rest is in the “gray zone”. The Pokrovsky direction, according to the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, constantly leads in terms of the number of Russian assaults.
