The General Staff of the Armed Forces: From the beginning of the day on the front, more than 55 combat clashes took place

From the beginning of the day, on June 29, 56 fighting collisions took place between the Defense Forces and the Russian military, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to the military, in nine destinations the fighting is still ongoing.

“Five combatants have occurred in the North Slobozha and Kursk and Kursk directions. Russian troops dropped into local positions of defense forces and settlements of 11 managed aviation bombs, also made 198 shelling, five of which – from the reactive system of volley fire. In the South Slobozhansky direction, the Russians attacked the positions of defenders of Ukraine three times in the Volchansk district, one municipalization continues, ”the military said.

At the same time, in the Kupyansk direction of the Russian troops twice stormed Ukrainian positions towards Petropavlivka and Sand.

“In the Lyman direction, the Russian army has attacked ten times in the Kopanok, Hope, Ridkooduba and Tornsky, as well as in the Serebryansky Forestry, to the Novoregivka, Middle and Shangargolovy. Four combatants continue. In the Seversky direction, the enemy tried to go forward near Serebryanka and seizures twice. One combatance is still ongoing, ”the General Staff said.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

On May 22, Radio Liberty Donbass reported that Russia in Donbass intensified the offensive in several directions, seeking to surround Konstantinovka – an important railway knot and a stronghold of Ukrainian defense.
