The further our missiles and our drones can hit, the less real combat power will be in Russia – address of the President

There are good results in strengthening air defense, and we will build up relevant experience. We are preparing further organizational and technical strengthening of the system of mobile fire groups, as well as work with drones. An obvious priority.”, — write: www.president.gov.ua

I wish you good health, dear Ukrainian men and women!

Briefly about today. In the morning – a detailed report by the Head of the Syrskyi Committee. The front, first of all, this is our Kurakhiv direction, other directions are also in Donetsk region. Carefully – regarding the Kursk operation. There, our guys hold back a fairly significant group of Russian troops – 50,000 personnel of the occupying army, who, thanks to the Kursk operation, cannot be directed to other directions of Russian attacks on our territory. We greatly appreciate the bravery of all our soldiers, every unit involved in these battles. I also want to note all our forces that strike at Russian bases, logistics, and rear areas. The strikes of our forces on Russian arsenals reduced the amount of artillery used by the occupier, and this is noticeable on the front. That is why we need long-range solutions from our partners – from America, from Britain, from Germany; this is what is vitally necessary. The farther our missiles and our drones can go, the less real combat power Russia will have.

Spent the Stavka today. There were several questions. The main thing is to protect our sky. There are good results in strengthening air defense, and we will build up relevant experience. We are preparing further organizational and technical strengthening of the system of mobile fire groups, as well as work with drones. An obvious priority.

Today there was a meeting with the head of European diplomacy Borrell. Our relations with the European Union, our interaction. Very important news: by the end of the year, European partners should have time to fully implement the initiative to supply Ukraine with a million shells for our artillery. Today I had a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Estonia. Recently, as a result of a Russian attack by “shahedas” on Kyiv, the building in which the residence of the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine is located was damaged. This is one of the many proofs that we need a significant increase not only in defense against Russian terror, but also in pressure on Russia to limit its military production. Every Shahed, every missile used by Russia is basically components that are supplied to circumvent sanctions. And in the next sanctions package of the European Union, it is important to hit, in particular, the sanctions circumvention schemes. Anyone who continues such trade with Russia must clearly understand the consequences. Peace through force is, in particular, through the force of sanctions. And I just spoke with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. I congratulated Andrzej and the entire Polish people on Independence Day. Ukraine is grateful for all the support of Poland from the first days of the full-scale war until today. Independence for both Ukraine and Poland is a force that strengthens both our peoples and that can be 100 percent effective only in our cooperation, only in supporting each other. Poland, thank you and congratulations! Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine! Glory to our people!

Glory to Ukraine!
