The FSB of Russia claims that in December 2024 a man was recruited through the Internet “in order to collect information on the dislocation of ships of the Black Sea Fleet and troops of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in the Krasnodar region and committing terrorist acts.” It is argued that by another order of the curator, he allegedly “seized from the hiding place a homemade explosive device weighing 2.5 kg for blasting the administrative building in the city of Novorossiysk”.
The detainee opened a criminal case for allegedly “preparation for the terrorist act”.
In the video of the interrogation published by the Russian state media, the detainee says he is a citizen of Belarus. His face in the video is hidden. The man freely recites the text about the “curator from the SBU” and “the desire to make money quickly”, and also says that the terrorist attack allegedly planned Ukrainian special services “to disrupt negotiations between the US, Russia and Ukraine” and “Further escalation of the conflict”. The “terrorist attack”, he said, was to happen in April.
There is no reaction from the SBU.
This is not the first case, Belarus Sergiy Eremeyev was detained in December 2023 in Omsk and accused two trains on the Baikalo-Amur highway in Buryatia. In the reports of the FSB of Russia, Eremeyev stated that he wanted to paralyze the transportation of military equipment closer to Ukraine. The Russian special services claimed that Eremyev received explosives in Belarus, and then transported it to the Far East of Russia.
