The former world champion destroyed his opponent in New York and ended his career

On the night of October 19, a boxing evening was held at the Barclays Center arena in New York, in the framework of which the former world champion Danny Garcia (37–4, 21 KO) had the last fight in his career.

The representative of the USA defeated compatriot Daniel Gonzalez (21–5–1, 7 KOs) in a spectacular confrontation in the first middleweight limit. Danny knocked out his opponent with a left hook in the fourth round.

Garcia has repeatedly admitted that the fight with Gonzalez will be the last in his professional career. Danny is a two-weight world champion, holding the WBC and WBA welterweight titles and the WBC welterweight belt.

Danny’s opponents were often strong and famous boxers – Erislandi Lara, Errol Spence, Sean Porter, Keith Thurman, Robert Guerrero, Paul Malignaggi, Zab Judah, Eric Morales, Amir Khan and many others.
