The Security Service of Ukraine announced a wanted list for the former president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andrii Pavelek. He is suspected of illegally taking more than 9 million euros, and Pavelko himself, according to the investigation, is hiding abroad, the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs writes.
Andrii Pavelko disappeared on November 5, 2025 and has not yet appeared before the pretrial investigation authorities. He is suspected of embezzling UAF funds and money coming from UEFA, the total amount of losses reaches approximately 9.32 million euros.
As journalist Kostyantyn Andriyuk reported, the ex-president of the UAF fled abroad after he was released from the pre-trial detention center under house arrest. “He went abroad on a fake disability,” Andriyuk clarified.
The Security Service of Ukraine calls on anyone who has information about Pavelko’s whereabouts to inform law enforcement officers so that he can be detained and prosecuted.
