– Maxim, your adventure in Kazakhstan has come to an end. What would you say to Yelimaya fans?
– It was a pleasure to stay here for 1.5 years. Yelimai created the most comfortable conditions for players. It was a pleasure to work with such a coaching staff and club managers. Huge thanks to the people of Kazakhstan, who cheer for Ukraine and want us to put this half-empire in its place.
– What options are you considering for yourself?
– To be honest, I would like to return to Ukraine if I receive an offer from a club with interesting challenges. I haven’t been home for 5 years. This is a very long stretch. I could not have thought that my business trip would be so long.
– Did Ukrainian clubs look out for you?
– There have been no conversations yet. You are probably the first to whom I told about it openly, – said Koval.
The Ukrainian goalkeeper spent a solid part of his career with Dynamo and left the Ukrainian championship in 2019. After the termination of cooperation with the “white and blue” he played for clubs from Saudi Arabia, Moldova, Greece and Kazakhstan.
