In the morning, Russian troops shelled the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region with artillery, the press service of the regional military administration (OVA) reported.

“A local resident died in Stanislav due to Russian aggression. A 71-year-old man was mortally wounded as a result of the morning artillery shelling,” OVA said.

They noted that “at the time of the enemy attack, the deceased was on the street.”

The regional administration expressed its condolences to the relatives and friends of the murdered man.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
