The forces of the Russian Federation attacked Dnipropetrovsk region 20 times: a woman was injured, there is damage – the authorities

During the day of Sunday, January 18, Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 20 times with artillery and FPV drones, the head of the regional military administration (OVA) Oleksandr Ganja said.

According to a local official, in the Nikopol district, Russian troops shelled the communities of Nikopol, Chervonogrigorivska, Myrivska, and Pokrovska. There, a private house and a garage were damaged, and infrastructure and a power line were damaged by shelling.

“In the Vasylkiv community of the Synelnyk region, an economic building on the territory of a private yard was on fire due to an enemy attack. A 43-year-old woman was injured in the Pokrovsk community. She was hospitalized in moderate condition. Infrastructure and two houses were mutilated by Russian shelling in the Solonyansk community of the Dnipro district. A private house was damaged by an FPV drone in the Hrushiv community of Kryvorizhye,” Ganja said.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
