25-year-old Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu (WTA 228) became the champion of the ITF W35 hard tournament in Bradenton (USA), where she was the first seed.

On the way to the trophy, Bianca lost just one set and passed: Malkia Ngunue (USA), Tatiana Peri (Italy, WTA 350), Ella McDonald (Great Britain, WTA 527), Li Ma (USA, WTA 342) and Vivian Wolff (USA, WTA 330).

For Andreescu, this trophy was the first after the US Open title in 2019. Bianca missed the first major of the season – Australian Open 2026 – to smoothly return to the Tour and gain physical form.

Andreescu has had back problems for a long time, and at the end of July 2025, she sprained her ankle at a tournament in Montreal. After the Canadian thousand, Bianca played five matches until the end of 2025 and suffered four defeats.
