The fire in an apartment in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, which was previously reported by the city’s military administration, did not start due to the fall of debris from a downed drone, but due to a household appliance, the KMVA clarified.

“After a detailed examination and clarification of the data, the fall of debris as a result of a drone attack in the Dnipro district is not confirmed. The fire in the apartment building was caused by a household appliance. The fire has been extinguished,” the message reads.

No casualties have been reported.

Before that, KMVA stated that the fire was caused by falling debris.

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with attack drones from the evening of November 19 until the morning of November 20. In Kyiv and the region, the work of air defense forces was reported.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
