After Novak’s victory, Musetti failed to qualify for the ATP Finals on points, missing out on Felix Auger-Aliassime (3,645 points against 3,640). The Canadian took the last, eighth slot.
However, throughout the week, Djokovic kept the intrigue and did not confirm his participation in the Final – Nole guaranteed himself a place in Turin back in October. And as a result, the Serbian tennis player withdrew from the final competition of the year and his place was taken by Lorenzo Musetti.
