The representative of Ukraine will fight against 38-year-old American Jeremy Ramos (14-15, 4 KO). The match will be held on July 1 in the second average limit (up to 76.2 kg) and will be designed for eight rounds.
The last Derevyanchenko went to the ring in August last year, when he met with Frenchman Christian Mbilli. The Ukrainian gave way to a unanimous decision of the judges, but most of the battle was injured. After that meeting, Sergei and underwent surgery.
Ramos was quite active in 2024 – he spent three duels, won two victories.
It is worth noting that Derevyanchenko occupies the seventh place in the updated rating of the World Boxing Council (WBC).
