The famous Ukrainian boxer challenged the absolute world champion

On May 4, a large-scale boxing evening was held at the Venue Riyadh Season Arena. The main event of the show was the fight for the title of absolute world champion in the second middleweight (up to 76.2 kg).

In the ring met Mexican Saul Alvarez (62–2–2, 39 KO) and Cuban William Skaall (23–0, 9 KO). Mexico boxer overcame the opponent with a unanimous decision of the judges in 12 rounds.

Famous Ukrainian boxer Sergey Derevyanchenko (15–6, 10 KO) remained dissatisfied with boxing in Riyadh in the evening and called Alvarez for a duel:

“The aftertaste from the boxing weekend, so. Tired of boring battles? Give me a duel with Alvarez. Or at least one indecisive will give me a revenge, I will show what boxing is … ” – wrote a Ukrainian on social networks.

Derevyanchenko last went to the ring in August last year, when he gave way to the unanimous decision of the judges of the invincible Frenchman Christian Mbilli (UD 10).
