She admitted that she does not like to be “interrogated” on this topic.
Ekaterina Pavlenko is 37 years old / UNIAN photoUkrainian singer Kateryna Pavlenko, also known as the soloist of the band Go_A and Monokate, spoke about the issue of having children.
In an interview with Slava+, she said that she does not consider herself childfree (people who have consciously and voluntarily decided not to have children, as opposed to those who cannot have children due to infertility or postpone it for the future – UNIAN), but she still had no desire to have a child:
“I don’t imagine myself as a mother. Well, I don’t know if I have such a “bug” or a peculiarity. Many people think that it is a “bug” because we live in a society in which, if you don’t have an apartment and a child, you are somehow not like that.”
When asked whether other people’s interest in this topic worries her, the singer answered that negative emotions are caused by “interrogations” about the reasons for not wanting to give birth. “The people I talk to don’t ask such questions. And with my relatives, everything is clear,” she added.
